In the rush to get through a day full of things to do, you can sometimes find yourself having conversations with people without your mind being truly present. You may look as if you’re listening to your boss, partner, child, parent or friend, but your mind is at least partly elsewhere – more focussed on the next item on your ‘to do’ list than on the person you’re with.

Try being truly present for the people around you. Since this brings you back to the present moment, it’s a great gift to yourself as well as to others!
