This nurturing eight-week programme, developed by the Mindfulness Association, uses a mix of meditations, group discussion and exercises to help you develop more compassion for yourself and others. Fundamentally shift how you relate to yourself: instead of meeting your imperfections and challenges with self-blame and criticism, learn how to bring a kind and mindful attention to your experiences – even in the midst of difficult situations.
Course contents include:
- Eight weekly sessions of two hours
- Daily mindfulness and compassion practice
- Manuals and audio downloads
- Certificate of completion
- Entitlement to attend a one-day retreat at no additional cost.
Can’t make it to the group one week? With free access to the weekly course notes and audio meditations online, you won’t miss out.
No prior mindfulness or self-compassion experience is required. However, the course is an ideal next step for those who have completed an eight-week mindfulness course.
Cost: £225 | Deposit £95 (non-refundable) with balance payable two weeks prior to commencement of course.
